Get Ready to Giddy-Up!!!

Due to our certification from AAHS (American Association of Horsemanship Safety), all of our policies meet their criteria for safety and riding suggestions.

HELMETS will be required for ALL riders of any age, discipline, or riding level, whether at the facility or during any activity that is sponsored by or that the rider is coached by or in any way representing K2 Riding Facility or Karolyn Foss.  HELMETS are required to be worn at all times during any equine activity, rodeo, gymkhana, show, trail ride, etc.  Certified equine helmets are the only helmets appropriate for equine activities - no bicycle helmets are allowed.

Appropriate Riding Attire is required from all students at all times when participating in any equine activity - this includes but is not limited to the following:

1.  Helmet     2.  long pants that are not too tight and are not baggy in any way    3.   closed toe boots  that will not get caught in the stirrups - no sneakers, sandals, work or hiking boots, or loafers will be allowed at any time

Everyone will be required to obtain a policy form and release with the knowledge of and understanding of Texas Equine Activities Statutes.

All Special Needs Children will be seperate from the other school classes so they may have more attention one on one.  Any child needing special attention will still have to provide their side riders or pay the required extra $12 per lesson to cover such help.

IF ANY person, due to special needs, emotional or physical requirements, or has any type of discipline problem, or distracts others in any way - will be excused from the class, group, lesson, or camp at the discretion of the Instructor. - NO QUESTIONS ASKED and NO REFUNDS OF MONEY PAID - The parents must understand this is a safety issue!!  No child will be allowed to put others in danger if they are distracting class or other students from doing their best and learning.  SAFETY of humans here COMES FIRST!  We are not being bias nor discriminatory in any way - SAFETY just COMES FIRST!!

Any parent that "teaches or instructs" in any way or form from the "sideline" or distracts their child in any way will be asked to leave the riding area and wait for their chlld to finish so as not to distract the rider and possibly cause an accident due to loss or lack of the student's focus with the instructor and the horse.

If you have any questions or problems, feel free to call Karolyn Foss or the AAHS.

Thank You for Your Cooperation
